Paddle Sports Center’s Safety Precautions for COVID-19

As we continue to provide “Touch Free” Rentals to the Santa Barbara Community, we continue to remind our members and guests to do their part to reduce the spread of COVID-19, by following these Covid-19 safety precautions.

Members and Guests of Paddle Sports Center agree to the following:

  • You must stay home if you are feeling sick or have a cough, fever, aches, or any of the other symptoms of COVID-19
  • You will not enter Paddle Sports Center and participate in any activities if you are currently in isolation or quarantine issued by any health professional, employer, or government agency.
  • You will wear a face covering while participating in all actives and when getting equipment and checking in at the shop. The only time you can remove your face covering is when you are kayaking and away from other guests/members and staff.
  • Anyone presenting symptoms or having the appearance of not feeling well will be asked to leave and not participate in any PSC activities.

Voluntary Consent: An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

All participants of Paddle Sports Center voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
