COVID UPDATE: Camp will be able to resume this summer with a limited number of kids. We are still waiting on the official numbers, so please stand-by and we’ll update you when we have that…
Welcome to the Paddle Sports Center, offering healthy and fun community outdoor activities during COVID-19.
As the summer of uncertainty 2020 keeps true to it’s name, we continue to operate in the best way we possibly can, and so far it’s been going great! Paddling is an outdoor activity and our shop is an open air shop with access at the front and back, so you can avoid inside spaces and being near groups of people. That being said, we require masks to be worn at all times when near our staff or other customers as part of the social contract we agree to by being open. So thank you in advance for doing your part!
We will remain open through the rolling closures and such as long as there is not another mandatory stay at home order. We believe that paddling in the open air and near the ocean is the best activity you can engage in. You will be away from other people and in the presence of the beauty.
We encourage everyone to remember to care for our natural world and the creatures that live in the ocean by not losing your mask to the ocean breeze 🙂
If you make a reservation or sign a waiver before arriving, it reduces the amount of time for store and staff interaction, which helps keep everyone safe.
We appreciate all of the support and the friendly faces (we see you smile under those masks!).
Sandwiched between rugged coastal mountains and south-facing beaches, Santa Barbara is often called the American Riviera. The dramatic geography and warm Mediterranean climate are best appreciated on the ocean, by kayak. This guided kayak tour…
PADDLE SPORTS CENTER MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM
‘the original paddling membership program’
Paddle Sports Center Co-Founders originally conceived of the paddling membership, designed and implemented in 2010. After years of refining and training other businesses in California, we have program that has you the paddler in mind. Paddle during your lunch break, before/after work, or on the weekend. This is your alternative to the gym, it is your outdoor fitness center. Just think, instead of lines to get on treadmills, you have dolphins & whales swimming alongside of you! Paddling for fitness not only calms the mind, but strengthens the body.
